RECOMMENDED 3D GLASSES FOR 3D GAMING
Gunnar lenses brings the best performance of 3D lenses!

Posted by J C on Apr 21, 2010 12:31 (Apr 21, 2010 12:31)

GUNNAR i-AMP3D lens technology brings performance optics that have previously been reserved for the highest level of movie making to today’s 3D viewer. True curvature lenses with distortion free polarization provide wide-field viewing to enhance 3D effects. Optical quality materials maintain the highest levels of detail, resolution, and clarity. The most efficient polarizing filters give the best light transmission and brightest viewing experience. They are now listed on Amazon.com for those who like to be up to date with the latest tech out.

Why go to such extensive lengths to create the best 3D lens ever made? Because a $300 million movie shouldn't be experienced with eyewear that costs less than a gum ball. View Gunnars collection of lenses here.

Glasses Info:

Optical Quality Lens Materials
The result: The highest levels of detail, resolution, and clarity possible without distortion caused by warping and internal stress found in traditional 3D eyewear.

Controlled Curvature Geometry
The result: Full field-of-view, panoramic 3D effects. In comparison, competitor’s lenses offer limited 3D perception for scenery and objects that fall outside the central portion of the lens, due to peripheral polarization distortion.

Near Perfect (99+%) Polarization Efficiency
The result: The lowest amount of "crosstalk" or ghosting from one eye to the other. Increases reality of imagery and eliminates visual and physical discomfort experienced with inferior quality lenses.

Optimized Light Transmission
The result: More vibrant, rich colors are allowed to pass through the lens to the eye for a brighter, more detail-filled viewing experience.

Precision Manufacturing
The result: For the utmost control of quality and performance, GUNNAR custom forms, machines, and fits each lens to the frame using ultra-precise ophthalmic equipment rather than the traditional cookie-cutter stamping process designed for cheap, mass production.

True Color 3Density™
The result: Colors that are accurate to the original film creator’s intent. For distortion free color perception, no additional tints are used that influence chroma or hue.

Maximized Contrast Ratio
The result: Intense darks and vivid brights are richly perceived without the damping effect normally found in mid to low quality 3D eyewear.

I'm pretty sure standard glasses will come with 3D TVs but if you want to upgrade, this is your main choice.

Yeah $100 is a bit pricy, but it's better than those annoying paper glasses imo if you can afford it There's just a major itch to me lol   Also updated it for you Bruno, to include info about prescriptions at the bottom.

Around $100 for 3D glasses? That's a bit pricey but if you want quality, you must pay the price.
