It was currently announced that Onlive has been released, and will be streaming into homes on June 17th. People will low computer specs can finally play games like Crysis, Burnout and F.E.A.R. with just a 5mbs connection (a required term in order to sign up for this service. The service will cost $14.99 per month and games (rent/buy) will cost extra depending on what developer's choose.

Then why wouldn't I choose another client that can offer their program for free and a wider range of of games also at cut prices, like Steam for example?

JA, that is sadly the case. But games will cost less because there is no need for a retailer, physical copy and piracy goes down. And, since there won't be any used sales, it can go down further. So 15$ a month, and perhaps $30-$40for games. Sounds pretty good.

I'm still unsure on the pricing plan, seems that the basic subscription only gives you access to the acutal program and then you have to pay again for the games. If that's the case then it doesn't seem like a good deal.
