LOST PLANET 2, LOST CONTENT ON PS3.
Confirmation that the games are identical.

So a couple of days ago we reported that Lost Planet 2’s producer, Jun Takeuchi, had to cut a lot of content from the final game because of size constraints and that it may appear in DLC form in the future.
 
What was unclear was whether this was true on the PS3 version, the Blue Ray Disks can hold a lot more information and it wouldn’t be the first time when the PS3 version had additional content Xbox 360 owners had to download to access.
 
Thankfully Brian Keltner of Capcom has got in contact and confirmed “The major content for both versions will be identical and ensure an enjoyable experience for consumers of either platform.” Going on further to say “the development team has kept the most important elements of the game and we are confident that consumers will not be disappointed with Lost Planet 2 and the variety of massive Akrid, powerful vital suits, beautiful environments and deep level of customization included in the final product.”
 
Looks be to true; as this game seems to be a marked improvement on the first game.
