Think God of War III will be the end? Think again!

 God of War III Tops off the trilogy that started in 2005, pitting Kratos against the gods of Mount Olympus in a spectacular rampage of revenge. But with God of War still one of Sony’s most popular franchises, the end of the trilogy certainly won’t be the end of the series.
 
Sony Santa Monica’s director of the product development John Hight told Gamervision in an interview in January 2010 “This is not the end of God of War”
 
"This is definitely the end of the trilogy, but were going to continue to do God of War games. We're going to be very careful about what we do; we're the keepers of the franchise and we don't want to see it ruined or polluted."
 
The release date for the game itself is scheduled to be sometime in March.
