That's right, DCUO will have a monthly fee of $14.99. Depending on how one interprets this news, one may be very frustrated or very relieved. On one hand, people have been looking to this game as the first major MMO to take Free-to-Play stance. Now, that is out the window. On the other hand, however, this could mean a much better and expansive experience. Many skeptics once thought this game would live a short life without a steady income from subscriptions. Perhaps they were right, and perhaps that is why the developers at Sony Online Entertainment made this very important decision.
