First a little prefix, below is a list of videogame characters that in some way or another has creeped me out, I’ve only included games I’ve played so sorry but Pyramid Head, Alma, the ghosts from Fatal Frame and many others aren’t included, while I’m sure they’re very scary I haven’t been scared by them and really can’t include them. The Tails doll looks like a worn child’s play thing, that’s bad enough in my books to gain it a spot on my list, I mean who mistreats a doll in the likeness of Tails? Other than that there isn’t a lot going for poor old Tails doll, oh apart from the fact he’s cursed and steals you soul. It’s true complete Sonic R 100%100 times or overtake Super Sonic with Tails Doll three times and Tails Doll will come through the screen and steal your soul.

 

 

 

 

 

Tonberry is a common Final Fantasy enemy first appearing in FFV, he has a lot of health and slowly creeps towards you with his lantern swinging and knife in hand. The thing is that the Tonberry can cause panic to a high-level player but boredom to a player that’s just started. The Tonberry’s special attack, Chef's Knife, is dependant on the number of monsters the player has defeated. So killed 100 so far and the damage is just 100 points, nothing to worry about. Killed 4569 however and things get a little bit worrisome and his attacks can only get worse. Most players when they realise they can’t kill this green worm before it reaches the players make a run for it.

 

 

 

 

 

Banshees occupy an abandoned village called Wraithmarsh where they brutally kill anything that has the misfortune of meeting them. Fine that’s a monster’s job and abandoned villages are fine they're out of the way, it’s not like they’re doing harm to anybody anymore, right? Well Banshees kidnap children and make them into their little puppets, when a Banshee attacks she doesn’t do it herself, no she summons a load of little helpers which the player must kill before being able to attack the floating ghost that taunts them so.

 

 

 

 

 

Two heads are better than one, or so they say. In this case other I would have to disagree. Featuring the heads of a mad butcher (that hates bunnies) and a deranged circus act (that hates psychics) this is one creature you want to stay clear of. Juggling massive cleavers and flaming-spiked batons this monstrosity seeks to weld two minds together in a never-ending torment to remain the dominate power within your own psyche.

 

 

 

 

 

You’ve lived in a vault your whole live, a massive underground bunker built into the ground. You find Vault 108 which is very simliar, but it’s door wide open, that’s odd, it should be sealed! You fight your way through a couple of mole rats and are just in the middle of looking through desks when behind you comes a shout of Gary, a crazed man in a jump suit attacks you and you have to blow his head off. Well that was weird, but you keep going and then another one pops up screaming GARY, you shoot him too but it looks a lot like the other guy. Pretty soon you realise you’re stuck underground in poorly lit conditions with loads of people that look the same and that can only say Gary, pretty soon Gary is creeping up on your while Gary is rushing in to attack you from the front and the name Gary quickly becomes nightmare fuel.
