You have them, you know you do. A handful of games from your past that were so exquisite that their absence in today’s industry evokes a quiet stabbing pain in your gaming soul. Scars so deep that even as you ride the wave of today’s gaming trends, a familiar whisper haunts you, forever speaking the name of those few experiences that our current industry never recaptured and never bothered to realize the gem it had to begin with…
 
 
These are my games. I stand up for them proudly, not because they bring me
nostalgia or remind me of better times in life when all I worried about was my 8th grade book report and being nice to my sister, but because these five games were and will always be awesome… and sadly forgotten. They are five games that bring me as much pleasure as they do pain. They are five games, in no particular order, that when I rule the world someday, I will make their development my first order of business forcing those who denied me to watch as each line of code is carefully put in place...

 It sucks when a game you love gets left to decay, But I think that its proven that sometimes certain games are better left as they were rather then continuing or changing them.   Good article thought

Great article. I\'ve bought ActRaiser a few months ago, but I\'ve not got around to playing it just yet because of my huge gaming backlog. After reading this though, I really want to play it.
